Kindergarten Screening

Brookside Primary School will host Kindergarten screening on Wednesday, May 31st, 2023. This is for students NOT currently enrolled in Pre-Kindergarten at Brookside only. We will gather the information we need while the children are at school.

Missing Something? Check the Lost and Found!

We'll have tables out front of the main entrance between 8-2 Monday-Friday next week unless it's raining so parents can stop by and check them out.

End of the year in the library

I will be sending home one more round of paper notices (you should get this information every week in an email) before moving into our "10 for the Summer" program: all students grades preK - 3 choose 10 titles for summer reading. This program assists me in the summer work of reorganizing the collection by removing 4000 of our 14,000 title collection. In the meantime, please reach out if:

  • you are unfamiliar with a title on your child's record

  • your child already brought it back

  • the book was damaged or was lost

I always take donations, especially good hardcover titles, and popular series (Minecraft, Magic Treehouse, Amulet, Dogman, fairies and princesses). Happy Spring, Nancy Daigle
